We all know how I feel about Laird Hamilton, but as long as I’m talking about surfing I might as well tell you about this picture. Big wave (height-wise) surfing is impressive in its own right, but you appreciate heavy waves more after you’ve been rolled a few times.
Me? I have limits: 6ft or smaller, no more paddling out in rips, never ride alone. Yes, I’m a pussy and I’m completely OK with that.
